Exhibition 【ゆう工房の食卓】 Exhibition of Yu Kobo

「わが家の味」があるように、「わが家の器」があって欲しいと思います。
特別な日の御馳走でなくとも、日々の食卓でいつも使う器。季節の味を、家族の好みを、愉しい会話を、そっと受け止めるような器です。
それは食器だけではありません。小さな野の花を一輪挿して、食後には一服のお茶がある。そんな食卓であって欲しいとも思います。
今回の展示会では　ゆう工房のこれまでの定番と、これからの定番となるような作品をご紹介します。どれも彼らの食卓で使われているものです。
そして、その中から皆様の食卓に「わが家の器」としてこれからを共に過ごす器が生まれることを願っております。

【ゆう工房】
平成23年、金重有邦先生門下の三人で開設。 「日々の生活にうるおいを与える器」を目指す彼らの 作品の根本にあるのは「使いやすさ」。和洋中と様々な料理が並ぶ日常の食卓の中で、どの器も衒いなく、 自然に料理を引き立ててくれます。

We expect there would be ‘the earthenware of our family,’ just like there is ‘the taste of our home’s cooking.’ Dishes not only for a feast dinner on a special day, but for everyday-life. Those dishes would deliciously dish up seasonal meals, scenting with the flavor of your family and filling with the enjoyable conversations.
In fact ― arranging wild flower, and drinking a cup of Maccha (green tea) would make fabulous time at home.
In this exhibition, we have various brand-new works of Yu Kobo in addition to the standard items. We are pleased if some will be brought back to your home together as ‘your family ware’

【About Yu Kobo】
Opened in 2011, with the pupil of the Master Kaneshige Yuho. They consider the usability is the most important, based on their objective; to make pottery that lights up the daily life. Now that our table with various food such as Japanese, Western and Chinese, all the works naturally promote the favor of the food.
