【大藝術家 北大路魯山人展】Exhibition of Kitaoji Rosanjin

毎日、何万と生まれてくるやきもの、 そしてすでに存在する多くのやきものを鑑みる上で、厳しい「美意識」が基盤になること、 そして同時にやきものの原点と実りである「用の美」こそが、そのものの魅力を余すところ なく引出してくれることを魯山人先生は私たちに教えてくれました。
生涯三十万点と言われる魯山人先生の残された作品の中から、「美しくも用いたいもの」を 選び扱わせていただくのも、私たちの仕事であり、先生へのご恩返しの一つです。
心の師である先生との真剣勝負を見ていただきたいと思います。
