純白一色、表面には優雅に映る轆轤目のみ。口縁の揺らぎやフォルムのラインは、光とともに濃密なモノトーンを作り出している。とてつもない存在感である。ただそこに在るだけで語りきれないくらいの情動を呼び起こす、黒田先生の究極の美意識を当苑にてお楽しみください。
1946年 滋賀県神埼郡能登川町に生まれる
1966年 パリに一年間滞在の中、のちに人間国宝になる島岡達三氏に出会う
1967年 カナダの陶芸家Geatan Beaudin （ゲータン・ボーダン）氏の元で陶器作りを始める
その間、益子の陶芸家島岡達三氏の元で勉強
1975年 カナダの製陶会社SIALにデザイナーとして勤務
1978年 カナダ・ケベック州セイント・ガブリエルにて築窯
1981年 帰国、伊豆松崎町にて築窯
1984年 渋谷パルコにて「SHOP TAIZO」オープン(～1987年)
1991年 伊豆伊東市にて築窯
1992年 白磁作品を展開しはじめる、以後白磁のみ制作
2001年 初の作品集“White Porcelin－黒田泰藏白磁作品集”を出版
以後 アメリカの美術館やギャラリーで展示会を行う
Evokes indescribable emotions inside us. The edge of the form and light create magnificent dense gradation on his works.
UTSU originally means empty or void, and WA means the round edge of the form.
Persuading his belief that the form is visible shape of invisible contents, the shape is simple, yet composition is sensitively and complexly designed.
What we, standing in front, can do is to explore and deliberate our thoughts and feelings, and that leads us the ultimate world of art and philosophy.
Started his career as a potter in Canada, studied under Studied under a Canadian potter Geatan Beaudin and Shimaoka Tatsuzo, who is a Recognized Living National Tresure.
