Exhibition 【織部　小山智徳展】Exhibition of KOYAMA Tomonori

古染付写し風　以前から古染付の器が好きだったし
織部をやり尽くしているわけではないのだが　手持ちの素材で何が出来るか作ってみた　
器のもつ祭のような愉しさにおいては　織部も古染付も同格だから　なんら問題はない　
両者は成形方法・意匠・造形・色彩がことごとく対極的な器だ
意図的な指導といったものがあったのだろうが　それもひとつのレトリックだったのか

Old Sometsuke-like works
Although I am not perfect in making Oribe, I always liked old Sometsuke design, so I made something mixed “Old Sometsuke-like Oribe” with what I have. There’s no problem for me that Oribe and old sometsuke have the same kind of pleasure like watching festivals.
However, the both are the other extreme regarding the process of turning on a wheel, the concept, and colors. There would be an intentional direction on both pottery, but I wonder if they were even mere rhetoric.
