青瓷の原始は、３５００年前まで遡るといわれています。
中国、朝鮮、タイやベトナム、そして日本で、数多の青瓷が今もなお誕生し続け、
時代をこえて、我々に感動をあたえてくれています。

現代陶での青瓷も、様々な様相を見せていますが、それを語る上で
青瓷釉の華やかさ、動きの面白さが際立っている若尾経の作品を外すことはできません。
幾重にも重ねられた釉がつくりだす亀甲の二重貫入。
それに加えて、青瓷色の微妙な変化をねらった窯変の面白さを
今回は、発表して戴きます。

It is academically said the history of Celadon starts approximately 3500 years ago. The countless Celadon are given their birth in a lot of countries such as China, Korean peninsula, Thailand, Vietnam, and in Japan. They have continuously expired us beyond long decades.

Celadon at this present age shows a wide range of expression, and when you talk about it, it is necessary to spotlight the works of Kei Wakao, which the splendor of the glaze and moving form are outstanding. In this exhibition, we would like to introduce the minute expression of Yohen and the beautiful double-crazing created by overlaid glaze.
