加守田先生の作品としては壷が多いがこうした茶碗などの小品にも作者の魅力は凝縮している。手捻 りでこんもりと包み込むような形に成形し、白化粧を施した後に 1975 年の特徴である文様を大きく 描いている。天に向かって飛び立つかのような文様なので飛翔文などと称されている。上下を黒釉、 真中には青釉を用いて描いている。白く見えるところは描き残した場所である。茶碗を裏返せば高台 を中心に、その描き残した独特の模様が見所になっている。茶碗内側には使用しやすいように透明釉 が施されている。

KAMODA has made mainly jars, but the charm of the artist is also concentrated in small pieces such as these tea bowls. After molding into a round shape that can be held by hands, and applying white glaze, he drawn the pattern that is characteristic of 1975 on a large scale. It is called “Hisho-mon” meaning the pattern looks as if it is flying toward the sky. The top and bottom are painted with black glaze, while the middle is painted with blue glaze. The white part is the place where it was left unpainted. The white part is left over, and if you turn the tea bowl over, you can see the unique pattern left over around the base. The inside of the tea bowl is covered with a transparent glaze for ease of use.
