毎夜毎夜、呑兵衛さんは、どんな徳利とぐい呑で晩酌を楽しんでいるのだろう。
トクットクットクッ…と、優しく響かせた徳利とその先にあるぐい呑…。これが、酒の肴になる程のものなら、それはもう、格別なものになる。その魅力は、お酒の味をも変えてしまうという。よく、育て上げた愛用の酒器のことを聞くとその多くが備前徳利と唐津ぐい呑のことになる。当苑で酒器を愛でるお客様の眼の色を最も変えるのもやはり「備前」と「唐津」なのだ。

備前の徳利は窯変、カセ胡麻、緋襷といった情景に溶け込むかのような落ち着いた景色が、お酒を帯びると、あざやかにして艶やかになる。そして、唐津のぐい呑といえば、斑唐津や朝鮮唐津の美しい釉調は更に色めき、きりっとした轆轤目と鉄絵の勢いが決め手の絵唐津は日増しに備わる古格が何とも心をくすぐる。

いつの頃からか、言われつづけている「備前の徳利、唐津のぐい呑」。この台詞は、何か理由があってのこと。お酒と酒器を愛する方々へ、最高の企画であります様に願いをこめて…。これぞ酒器の巨頭という、備前とくり 唐津のくいのみを、ここでは「双頭ノ酒器」としました。

“Bizen” and “Karatsu” are exactly what excite sake ware collectors the most.
In particular, Bizen tokuri and Karatsu sake cups have been considered to be the best quality to make sake taste better, for a long time. This appreciation includes not only the sake cups in front of us, but it also includes the real pleasure of enjoying the process of change and the dignity that grows as the sake cups are used and cherished.
For those who love sake and sake cups, we wish this project the best.
