Small plate, White Porcelain 白瓷碟

乳白色の白瓷に銅色の覆輪が映えます。薄作りできりっとした印象を持つものの、器胎にかかる釉薬はあたたかく心地のよい光沢を放ち高台周りの削り跡の角度が光を反射して美しい。伊藤先生の手掛ける作品は受け手に対して難解ではなく、すっと馴染む空気感をたたえています。

The rimmed metal is shining on the ivory colored body.
Though its first impression of the thin bowl is sharp and handsome, the glaze on the body shines warm and softly, and the scraped form around the foot is elegantly reflect the light. The works by Ito Hidehito is talking to the viewers in simple words, giving us a sense of affinity.
