1944年 東京都に生まれる1967年 二代三代須田菁華氏に学ぶ
1969年 絵と陶芸、古美術を学ぶ
1975年 北海道伊達市にて築窯
1987年 当苑にて個展を開催する
1992年 京都書院『陶・柴山勝』出版
亀田郡戸井町に移転する

1969-74 start studying painting, ceramic art and antique.
1975 Built his own kiln in Date City, Hokkaido.
1987 Held a solo exhibition at Shibuya Kurodatoen.
1992 Published a photo album entitled Toh (the ceramic) by Masaru Shibayama and Kyoto Shoin (a publishing company) and moved his studio to Toi-cho (Toi Town), Kameda-gun (Kameda County) in Hokkaido.
